Meet our employees: Cecilie Drange – Chief Revenue Officer

What is your main area of responsibility?

As Chief Revenue Officer, my main responsibility is to ensure that there is work for us as a company to perform. Other companies call this position sales manager or commercial manager, but Nordic Unmanned has expanded the scope somewhat, to also include areas such as partnership strategies and market identification, mapping and entry.

What got you interested in joining Nordic Unmanned, and to start working with unmanned systems and services?

Its new, its exciting and it serves a market in exponential growth. It is a market that isn’t mapped and there are so many untapped sources that the role of CRO was irresistible.

Another very attractive aspect of Nordic Unmanned, is the fact that I joined the organization as one of the “Elders”. The young and dynamic environment is very exciting. I thus hope you will all keep me up to date on what is cool and happening in the market, and that I am able to keep up with the rest of Nordic Unmanned.

What do you look forward to in 2021?

I am very excited about learning more and getting to know the great crowd at Nordic Unmanned. I’m still suffering from TIO (Total Information Overload), and TLAD (Three Letter Abbreviation Depression), so one of the great joys of 2021, will be to recover from NGiTS (New Girl in Town Syndrome).
And one must not forget that I am also looking forward to getting two shots in my right arm. I am dreaming of a return to a normal society with open bars and restaurants where one can enjoy a hefty steak with a bold red wine in the company of good friends, travel the world to meet family, friends, clients and colleagues and something as basic as chilling on the beach or racing down the face of the mountain, huffing and puffing in knee deep powder.

What is your favorite drone out of our catalogue and why?

I believe I am still new enough to get away with the obvious Staaker BG-200. It is the only one I have had the opportunity to see in action, and as CRO love the fact that it is an internal product, where we can twist and turn and jiggy as we see fit to make it fit the client in the best possible way.
