Nordic Unmanned & European Maritime Safety Agency Complete First Successful Night Flight in Denmark

NOVEMBER 3rd, 2020 – Gniben, Denmark – A first night flight was completed on October 30th 2020 in Denmark, paving the way to extended
periods of operations for the purpose of monitoring vessels emissions.

For the last 4 months, Nordic Unmanned has controlled over 180 vessels for compliance with the IMO 2020 sulphur cap and conducted over 115 flights in Denmark. This deployment is made possible under an EMSA (European Maritime Safety Agency) contract that covers current and future similar deployments.
