About the vessel

At Nordic Unmanned we are proud to have been involved in the drone inspection of structural areas of Heerema’s Sleipnir Vessel. The Semi-Submersible Crane Vessel (SSCV) Sleipnir is the largest crane vessel in the world designed for offshore heavy lifting. It has two cranes of 10.000 metric tonnes lifting capacity each. This vessel can be deployed globally for installing and removing offshore structures.

About the project

Nordic Unmanned performed an inspection of critical structure areas of the main columns that connects the floaters to the main box. The distance between the floaters and the box bottom is of approx. 20m, which makes these areas of difficult access for inspectors to control.
